The Mossel Bay Yacht and Boat Club is nestled next to Bartolomeu Dias Museum and Munro Bay. It has the most stunning views, being one of only two north facing Yacht Clubs in the world. Established in 1956, this is the centre of aquatic sports in town. The event calendar includes regattas, yachting events, sailing development courses (for junior and senior sailors), monthly angling competitions as well as exciting diving excursions.

It is a magical experience having a meal or a sundowner on the deck overlooking the bay and the Outeniqua Mountains. Café On The Bay – open for club members and for the public – serves breakfast until 11h00 and a variety of starters, chef specials, mains, combos and meals for the under 12’s. Favourites include the Focaccia (perfect to nibble on while having a drink from the bar), their Mega-Burgers, Greek souvlaki, pork chops with a Balsamic reduction, curry of the day, and delicious pizzas. Catering available for weddings, birthdays and year-end functions. Bookings: 044 690 7100 (office hours).

Social members, who come and enjoy the ambiance of the club and restaurant or a game of pool, are also catered for. Friday night draws, Wednesday night Bingo evenings and various week-end activities are hosted on a regular basis.
